Thursday, December 22nd

FYI, we are NOT playing the Scene on Thursday, Dec 29th as listed in the LA Weekly. It was a mistake. But we are playing on the 4th. See post below for details.

Wednesday, December 21st

Check out the LA Alternative at news stands tommorow. They are doing a small feature on us. Try to support this paper because they are a refreshing voice compared to the LA Weekly.

And we'll be playing a show on Wednesday, January 4th, 2006 at Little Pedros (901 E. 1st St) in downtown LA with Qui and Lozen. Hope to see you there. Happy Winter.

Wednesday, November 30th

check out this flyer for next week shows and print out. it's 11x17 with two shows listed. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerd.

Monday, November 28th

We are playin' some shows with the almighty Blacklevel Embassy from Australia on December 7th (Silverlake Lounge) and 8th (Il Coral). Check out the schedule we posted on our myspace page.

Also, our "Argentina" video got accepted the Nolita Film Festival in New York. Check it out on the schedule. It will be shown on Monday, December 5th at midnight for all of our New York based friends.

Saturday, October 29th

The recent news is that it's almost Haloween. But the bad news is that we haven't been able to play in about 6 weeks because Chris broke his leg, had surgery, and is now on crutches. Now both Aaron and Chris have pins, screws and/or plates in their legs. Dave is hoping he doesn't have to have metal body parts in the future.

But we hope to be playing again in November and definitely December when our friends from Australia, Black Level Embassy, come through to do some shows with us. We just got some new Split EPs in the mail that we did with them. They fucking rule, as most of those from down under do. We'll be selling those hot CDs at our future shows, so please don't miss out.

In the meantime, please join our mailing list so we can tell you about shows. Don't worry, we don't spam people unless we really have shows coming up.

Thursday, September 8th

We'll be playing on KXLU 88.9 FM in Los Angeles next Friday, September 16th at 5pm. Tune in on the radio or go to www.kxlu.com

Thursday, June 16th

Hey you, we are playing this Saturday night and shooting a video during day...details below:

Time: Screening of "The Take": 6:00 PM, Shoot: 7:30 PM, Show: 11pm

Video Location: Hanging Jury, 1023 S. Sante Fe Ave, LA, Ca. 90021. Just south of 7th street.
Show Location: Gallery 1269 - Located at 1269 E. Sixth Street and Alameda

Summary: Music video shoot for Sabertooth Tiger in support of the workers struggle in Argentina. Video screening of The Take. Free beer for participants.

Details: For those interested in music and politics, we are looking for people to come down to Hanging Jury in downtown LA, and drink free beer with us, while we shoot a video in support of the workers struggle in Argentina.

The song is called Argentina, available free for download at our site, and is actually about the workers takeover of the factories down there right after the economic collapse in 2001. They basically fired their bosses, took over the factories, and organized co-operatives to run them.

We are honored to get to use stock footage from the documentary "The Take" (directed by Avi Lewis and Naomi Klein), which will be cut up and used in the majority of this video. If you haven't seen The Take, or don't know much about this whole situation, check out the trailer here:
